I have been a Christian for most of my life but recently I have had some difficulty believing fully in the bible. It began when I started college and took some philosophy courses. I just have difficulty reconciling all that I read in those classes with what I have come to believe as the truth in the bible. I still feel that Christianity is real I just need some more definite confirmation of my beliefs.

Hi. I know, believe me, what you mean. And I know how intellectual thinking and facts try to explain away what you know to be true. But all I can really give is not fact as it is accepted by the world. If you're looking for cocrete fact, only the world in general determine what is 'concrete fact', and so you'll only get this: that if there is a God, then he's the God of every religion, therefore every religion is right (and therefore every religion is wrong). What we believe is not 'facts'. In my experience God does not give out 'proof' of his existence until we step out in faith first. Believe first, and he will show you how real he is. It may seem like a contradiction, but God works according to our faith in him. But he's still sovereign, and allows things like suffering, so that his people will turn to him.
